On the northern direction, the Ukrainian military shelled the villages of Zaytsevo, Golmovsky, and northern outskirts of Gorlovka with tanks and infantry fighting vehicles.
On the Donetsk direction, near the town of Yasinovataya, the Ukrainian army opened artillery fire on the territory of the Donetsk people’s Republic (the DPR), the enemy had been provoking trench combat. The village of Spartak and the outskirt of the Kievsky district in Donetsk were shelled.
On the Mariupol direction, the Ukrainian army opened fire on the villages of Leninskoye and Sakhanka.
There is no information on victims among the civilian population and destructions.
On May 17, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 45 times. The enemy opened fire on 17 villages and towns of the DPR with heavy artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, tanks, mortars, anti-tank guided missiles, the weaponry of infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carrier, grenade launchers, and small arms.
