The Ukrainian army’s provocations and shelling of the Donetsk People’s Republic towns and villages were observed along the whole contact line, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on May 14.
Trench combat was underway on the northern and north-western borders of Gorlovka. 2 civilian objects were damaged in the village of Zaytsevo by the Ukrainian army’s shelling.
On the Donetsk direction, the situation remains tense in Avdeevka industrial zone, north of the DPR capital and in the area of Trudovskiye in the Petrovksy district of Donetsk. The Ukrainian side is using heavy artillery, mortars of various calibers, and small arms. In the evening of May 13, one civilian, a 78-years woman, suffered a gunshot wound. The injured woman was taken to the hospital.
The Ukrainian army had been provoking combat in the area of the front-line communities in the Novoazovsky district of the DPR. Artillery fire came from the village of Sartana under the Ukrainian military’ control. On May 14, a 26-years old civilian, who was injured in the village of Kominternovo on May 13, died in the hospital.
On May 13, the Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 54 times. 22 villages and towns of the DPR came under Ukrainian artillery’s fire. As a result of the shelling, electric power was lost in the villages of Sakhanka, Zaichenko, and Leninskoye, the village of Kominternovo was left without gas and water supply.
