The situation is tense along the whole front line; the Ukrainian army is reinforcing its troops with heavy and rocket artillery, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on March 29th.
There is information on active combat in the area of the so-called “Svetlodarsk pocket”, near the village of Logvinovo.
On the Gorlovka direction, the tense situation is observed in the area of Zaytsevo and Zhovanka. The Ukrainian military are provoking trench combat attacking the residential areas and DPR PM positions with artillery and small arms.
Power lines transmitting electric power to the Donetsk filtration plant were damaged as a result of the mortar shelling conducted by the Ukrainian army. The filtration plant was again left without electricity.
On the Donetsk direction, the Kievsky district of Donetsk came under Ukrainian army’s fire. 4 houses were damaged, one civilian, a woman, was killed. One house was damaged in the village of Trudovskiye west of the DPR capital. Moreover, the suburbs of Yasinovataya, the villages of Krutaya Balka, Yakovlevka, Spartak, and Mineralnoye were shelled. 2 houses were damaged in the village of Mineralnoye.
South of Donetsk, Dokuchaevsk came under the Ukrainian army’s shelling.
The Ukrainian army opened fire on the village of Leninskoye in the Novoazovsky district of DPR. There is no information on destructions and victims among civilians.
According to DPR PM Command, one serviceman of the Republic was killed, and another one was wounded during the past day.
DPR intelligence continues to uncover Ukrainian army’s heavy weaponry stationed near the front line that is a gross violation of the Minsk agreements. 2 batteries of 120mm mortars were uncovered in the area of Berezovoye. One battery of 120mm mortars was noted near Avdeevka. One battery of 122mm “Gvozdika” self-propelled artillery vehicles was noted in the area of Polnoye. There is information on the redeployment of 2 batteries of BM-21 “Grad” multiple launch rocket systems to Dokuchaevsk, the zone of responsibility of the 92nd independent motorized infantry brigade of the Ukrainian army.
During the past day, March 28th, the Ukrainian side violated ceasefire 54 times. 23 towns and villages of DPR were shelled by the Ukrainian army.
