Today, the Ukrainian artillery again shelled the Donetsk water filtration plant. The shells broke the roof of the building, but the equipment itself was not damaged. The plant continues to work. The Ukrainian army, by using the heavy artillery, is provoking combat in the area of Avdeevka industrial zone and near the villages of Spartak and Krasny Partizan. In the evening, the fire was significantly intensified.
During the past day, 3,460 citizens of Syria received a total of 2 tons of humanitarian aid from Russian military. According to the Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides in the Syrian Arab Republic, Russian aircraft delivered 20.5 tons of food products, provided by the United Nations for the Syrian authorities, in the area of Deir ez-Zor using parachute platforms.
Day of the Defender of the Fatherland is a date of special honoring of the veterans and active duty servicemen; it is a day of glory for Russian military tradition and its warrior spirit!
