The shelling of the villages and towns of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and provocations on the part of the Ukrainian army continued.
At the Gorlovka part of the front, Ukrainian military shelled the northern and south-western suburbs of the city, including the villages of Zaytsevo and Golmovsky.
On the Donetsk direction, the Ukrainian army was shelling the villages of Nizhnetoretskoye, Vasilevka, Krutaya Balka, and Spartak. In the west of Donetsk, in the village of Starimikhailovka, 4 houses were damaged. Trench combat continued in the areas of the “Yasinovataya” checkpoint and of Avdeevka industrial zone.
Ukrainian military was provoking trench combat on the Mariupol direction.
According to Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) Command, during the past day, 2 servicemen of the Republic were killed, and one was severely wounded as a result of the shelling conducted by the Ukrainian army.
The Ukrainian side continued to redeploy heavy military weaponry to the contact line grossly violating the Minsk Agreement. DPR PM intelligence uncovered the location of a battery of “Grad” multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) near Keramik, of a tank platoon near Kamenka, of a battery of “Grad” (MLRS) near Vinogradnoye, of a tank platoon near Sartana.
In comparison with February 10th, the number of ceasefire violations during February 11th had increased. On February 11th, the Ukrainian army shelled the front-line territories of the Republic 1,302 times. Ukrainian military fired 174 120mm and 82mm mortar shells, infantry fighting vehicles, anti-aircraft guns, grenade launchers, and small arms were actively used.
