The situation at the front line is escalating.Over 40 houses, a kindergarten, and a school were damaged in villages and towns of the Republic as a result of the shelling by the Ukrainian war criminals. 6 villages in the south of the Republic were left without electricity.
The situation is extremely tense along the whole front line. The Ukrainian army is using multiple launch rocket systems, heavy artillery, tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, heavy machine guns, and automatic grenade launchers. The Ukrainian army shells not only the positions and lines of communications of DPR People’s Militia but also DPR villages, towns, and cities including Donetsk.
Despite a severe shell-shock, the Battalion Commander rejoined the combat. Somali battalion under his command supported the units of the 11th regiment in order to regain and hold the positions occupied by the Ukrainian army.
Yesterday, January 31st, the Ukrainian artillery shelled the Institute of Mining, Geology, Geomechanics, and Mine Surveying on 291, Chelyuskintsev str. and a parking lot of “Mayak” marketplace.
