Despite the declared ceasefire, the Ukrainian side continues to shell Donetsk People’s Republic territory and intensifies the shelling each day.
It is still tense on Debaltsevo direction. Today Ukrainian army’s artillery shelled the outskirts of the city.
According to local residents, trench warfare continues in northern outskirts of Gorlovka, in the area of Zaytsevo and Golmovsky villages.
Northern and western outskirts of Donetsk got shelled by the Ukrainian side. Aleksandrovka and Trudovskie in Petrovsky district of the capital, as well as Vasilevka and Krutaya Balka in Yasinovataya district of the Republic came under artillery fire.
Sakhanka and Leninskoye in Novoazovsky district of DPR came under fire.
DPR recon uncovered the location of a battery of “Grad” multiple rocket launchers of Ukrainian army near Elizavetovka village on Donetsk direction. The location of up to a battery of 152mm “Akatsiya” self-propelled artillery guns was uncovered near Volnovakha, in the area of Starognatovka village.
According to updated information, on December 28 the Ukrainian side violated the ceasefire 743 times. According to DPR People’s Militia, one serviceman of the Republic was killed.
