The intensity of fire along all of the frontline notably decreased. However, despite the declaration of the ceasefire, since midnight Armed Forces of Ukraine fired on Donetsk People’s Republic’s territory 176 times. Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Donetsk and villages in the south of the Republic came under Ukrainian heavy artillery, mortars, IFV gun, grenade launcher and small arms fire. Krutaya Balka village north of Donetsk was shelled by “Grad” multiple rocket launcher.DPR recon discovered up to two platoons of 152mm “Akatsiya” self-propelled artillery guns (SPGs) on Debaltsevo direction and registered deployment of up to a battalion of personnel to Svetlodarsk area. Two batteries of “Grad” multiple rocket launchers were discovered in south of Volnovakha, in Anadol village area. Up to two platoons of “Gvozdika” SPGs were discovered on Mariupol direction, in Lebedinskoye village area.
According to updated information, on December 23 Ukrainian military opened fire 3002 times on the territory of the Republic. According DPR People’s Militia Command, one serviceman of the Republic was killed, another was injured.
