In the course of the day, with short interruptions, south-western and northern outskirts of Gorlovka are being shelled. Ukrainian side is provoking trench combat, using tanks, mortars, grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns.
In the morning residential districts of Yasinovataya were shelled from the direction of occupied Avdeevka. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Avdeevka industrial zone and the area of the airport on the outskirts of Donetsk, as well as Staromikhailovka, Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka in the west of the city were shelled.
Dokuchaevsk and Yasnoye village were shelled by artillery of Ukrainian army. A shell hit a store in the center of Dokuchaevsk. No casualties were reported.
Oktyabr and Kulikovo on Mariupol direction were continuously shelled by Armed Forces of Ukraine by artillery. Two houses were damaged in Oktyabr village, power supply was disrupted. Due to the absence of bomb shelters a part of local residents were evacuated to nearby safe towns and villages. Passage through the checkpoint near the village was ceased. During the shelled OSCE Mission members were present in the village.
Despite Kiev’s claims of withdrawing nationalist battalions from the frontline, DPR recon continues to register facts of presence of militants in the zone of conflict. Up to 30 Right Sector Nazis arrived to Volnovakha area.
According to updated information, on November 8 Armed Forces of Ukraine fired at frontline areas of the Republic 665 times. including 557 times by mortars, artillery and tank guns. Shelled were Zaytsevo, Zheleznaya Balka and Shyrokaya Balka near Gorlovka, Avdeevka industrial zone, Spartak, Trudovskie and Aleksandrovka villages near Donetsk, Elenovka and Dokuchaevsk, Kominternovo, Leninskoye and Sakhanka in the south of DPR. According to DPR Operations Command, one serviceman of the Republic was injured.
