The CIA began to use it widely to transport combat units and weapons in Indochina, as well as for drug trafficking. October 20 – Signal Corps Day

Thousands of people serving in the signal corps, defending their Motherland in the armies of DPR, LPR and Russia celebrate today their professional holiday. The servicemen do their military duty with honor, risk their lives, provide communications in the most dangerous places, supply commanders with means of communication with their subordinates, support coordination of the actions of different units and branches of the military. Existence of a modern army is impossible without reliable communication. Congratulations!
