A peaceful woman, resident of Zaytsevo village near Gorlovka, was wounded during the night shelling by the Ukrainian military, a representative of the village administrative authorities informed Donetsk News Agency today.
“A resident received multiple shrapnel wounds and fractures due to the shell hit in Astaganova Street. She is now hospitalized,” the representative said.
She also added that the serious destruction of the houses was observed on Rybalko and Poletaeva Streets. The exact scale of destruction of housing is being specified.
A source in the Donetsk People’s Republic Defense Ministry informed Donetsk News Agency that the Ukrainian military fired dozens of mortar shells and several tank shells at the territory of Zaytsevo village during the shelling. Moreover, the area of the mining village “Gagarin” on the western outskirts of Gorlovka was shelled by the Ukrainian army.
