On April 15th, the Ukrainian military violated ceasefire obligations 33 times by firing 144 shells at the frontline territories of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), DPR Deputy Defense Minister Eduard Basurin reported during the briefing in the press center of Donetsk News Agency on April 16th.
He added that the enemy fired a total of 78 mortar shells using 82mm and 120mm mortars. Moreover, the Ukrainian army used the weapons of infantry fighting vehicle, various kinds of grenade launchers, and small arms.
“The 128th brigade commander Shaptala and 56th brigade commander Melnik are still the leaders in the destruction of free Donbass. It seems like these war criminals are competing with each other,” said the representative of the Defense Ministry.
According to the Defense Ministry, Zaytsevo village near Gorlovka, Sakhanka and Kominternovo townships in the south of Donbass, Spartak, Zhabichevo, Staromikhaylovka townships, the area of the former airport and the area of “Volvo-centre” on the Donetsk outskirts, and Yasinovataya town were most intensively shelled by weaponry banned by Minsk agreements.
