Ukrainian military started to evacuate civilians from Maryinka (Donetsk agglomeration) as a part of preparation to breach DPR line of defense west of Donetsk, according to Donetsk People’s Republic Defense Ministry, Donetsk News Agency reports.
The Defense Ministry added that due to the escalation of tension, DPR “moves up the reserves towards the frontline west of Donetsk.”
The situation presently remains tense on the part of the strategically important Donetsk-Yasinovataya-Gorlovka road. The Ukrainian army intends to entrench in this area, however, the daily attacks fail for the whole week. Yesterday Ukrainian soldiers used heavy artillery in the area.
According to the latest information of DPR Defense Ministry, the enemy has deployed up to 40 self-propelled artillery guns near Donetsk.
