Ukrainian military entrenched in the neutral zone and shelled the territory of Donetsk People’s Republic using heavy artillery, “Essence of Time” unit reported on their official page in the social networks on March 12th.
According to the report, the Kiev junta’s punitive forces occupied the neutral zone near “Yasinovatskiy” DPR road police post and fortified the new positions. Ukrainian artillery shelled Spartak and Zhabunki villages using 152mm artillery prohibited by Minsk Agreements. Gorlovka remains under the fire.
“Front-line Zaytsevo village and mining village “Glubokaya” are being shelled by automatic grenade launchers, recoilless anti-tank gun, and 82mm mortar all day,” “Essence of Time” unit informed.
On March 8th, Ukrainian military made an attempt to breach DPR front near “Yasinovatskiy” road police post. The attack was repelled by DPR Armed Forces, however, the Ukrainian army managed to entrench in the neutral zone and, thus, bring Donetsk-Gorlovka route under their fire control.
