The last 24 hours resembled the events of winter 2014-2015. Along all of the contact line Ukrainian tanks and IFVs have moved out for direct fire, howitzer, mortar, multiple-launch rocket system operators laid their guns.
From 16:00 to 16:30 Donetsk People’s Republic army positions in Staromikhaylovka, Trudovskie areas, in Zaytsevo, Shyrokaya Balka, Zhabichevo, Lozovskaya, Belaya Kamenka villages and Donetsk airport area came under provocative fire by all guns of the Ukrainian army which was supposed to cause response fire, reveal the defense system, system of fire and inflict casualties to the military.
Ukrainian army’s recon by fire receives a C, not all of their military hardware managed to return to the bases. The soldiers of the Republic increased the personal count of the destroyed enemy’s hardware. The evening was relatively calm, the barrages repeated at night. The enemy used Grad multiple-launch rocket systems for the first time this year.
