Russia supplies freezing Ukrainian city with gas after residents ask for help
The mayor of Ukrainian city Genichesk, Kherson oblast of Ukraine, has addressed Russia asking to provide aid for the residents of the city due to very severe frosts after the city’s own gas supply was disrupted by cold weather. The gas supply was launched by Russia from Crimea shortly after, as instructed by President Vladimir Putin.
