“Right Sector” announced that it will no longer participate in the blockade of Crimea, according to the official statement of the extremist organization.
“‘Right Sector’ is ceasing its work on the blockade as a part of the ‘Crimean Maidan’… The last statement of the ‘Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People’ was not coordinated with us and other representatives of public organizations, volunteer battalions and patriotic movements all of which are members of the headquarters of the ‘Crimean Maidan’, led by Lenur Islyamov; it is aimed at compromises with both the external and internal enemies of Ukraine,” the statement says.
All “Right Sector” units involved in the blockade will be directed at strengthening the border with Crimea, noted the public affairs office of the gang.
