According to the so-called President of Ukraine, Crimea is being blockaded for the purpose of “returning the state sovereignty over Crimea”. Poroshenko’s comment refers to the actions of extremist organizations who have blocked the “Chongar”, “Kalanchak” and “Chaplinka” border checkpoints under the supervision of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.
Crimean authorities called the campaign “meaningless”.
