Social infrastructure destroyed by Kiev junta is being actively restored in Donetsk

The Ministry of Construction and Housing of Donetsk People’s Republic plans to restore 56 public infrastructure buildings damaged by shelling by Kiev junta’s militants until October, according to the Ministry’s public affairs office, Donetsk News Agency reports.

By October 1, we plan to restore another 56 objects, provided we will have enough building materials: 27 schools, 18 kindergartens, 5 special secondary technical schools and 6 medical institutions of the Republic.

According to the Ministry of Construction, the second stage of the planned restoration work is on schedule. As of September 1, 2015, 41 planned objects are restored. 34 contractors and more than 600 construction workers were involved.

Earlier, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing, Aleksandr Kovalenko said that the second phase of restoration will include 503 social infrastructure buildings, as well as 1411 apartment buildings and two thousand buildings of the private sector.
