There is nothing surprising about the fact that a march in honor of the 1st Galician SS Division is taking place in the center of Kiev, said doctor of political sciences and professor at Moscow State University Sergey Chernyakhovsky in an interview with Rossa Primavera News Agency on April 30.
“It is akin to the current government in Ukraine,” Chernyakhovsky said, commenting on the march of black vyshyvankas [casual name for the embroidered shirt in Ukrainian national costumes – translator’s note] held in the Ukrainian capital on April 28, 2021.
The professor noted that in recent years the Ukrainian government has always needed Nazi manifestations. “Before, it was needed to maintain a certain balance between East and West, and now it is needed for the possibility of preserving the existing government in its terrorist guise,” Chernyakhovsky explained. In his opinion, Ukraine has had a Nazi government since 2014.
“Zelensky is fully integrated into the Nazi power and plays the role of a clown who amuses those around him; he does not want and cannot anything to oppose this [Nazi manifestations – translator’s note],” the doctor of political science believes.
“In addition, it cannot be excluded that a certain elite group makes it clear to Zelensky that it has the power to prevent attempts to meet and negotiate with the leaders of the anti-fascist republics,” he added.
The political scientist noted that “unfortunately, Russia also tolerates this without taking any real measures to stop this bacchanalia that would result from its status as one of the participants in the Nuremberg process and a permanent member of the UN Security Council.”
