Kurginyan: Zelensky needs war for his own exit

16.04.2021, Moscow.

The policy of the Ukrainian leadership has failed in all areas, and President Vladimir Zelensky needs war in order to leave office more easily, political analyst and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on April 11 on the Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on Russia One TV channel.

The political analyst said that the British intelligence service supported the provocative actions of the Ukrainian authorities. While the intelligence services of Germany and France nearly winded down their activities in Ukraine.

“Whereas continental Europe is still scared that there will be some escalations – these [the USA and the UK] don’t care, and they escalate all the time,” Kurginyan said.

He recalled that the Ukrainian president met with the Chief of the British Secret Intelligence Service MI6 Richard Moore in the autumn of 2020. The MI6 Chief set out far-reaching plans for Ukraine and Turkey. Moore will likely continue his career after leaving the British Intelligence Service.

“So Zelensky is just eating out of his hands. It’s quite clear that they [the current Ukrainian government]are on the brink of collapse… It is better for them to leave under the conditions of a scandal than to just leave. They are displaying complete failure in all areas,” Sergey Kurginyan stressed.

The political scientist believes that very many actors in international politics are pushing the Ukrainian state towards escalation of the situation in Donbass and genocide of the population of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as it happened in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the seizure of the town of Srebrenica by the troops of the Republika Srpska in 1995.

According to the official version, on December 11, 1995, the troops of the Republika Srpska under the command of General Ratko Mladić seized Srebrenica, which the UN Security Council declared a security zone. A battalion of UN peacekeepers consisting of 600 soldiers from the Netherlands guarded Srebrenica, but it did not engage and withdrew from its positions.

According to the prosecution at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, after the seizure of Srebrenica, Serbian troops massacred Bosnian Muslims. The prosecution claimed that up to 8,000 bodies were found in mass graves in various locations.
