Turkish-backed groups in Syria begin to recruit militants in order to send them to wage war in Ukraine, a Rossa Primavera News Agency’s source in the Syrian Arab Republic (SAR) informed on April 12.

“The Hamza Division, Sultan Murad Division and Suleiman Shah Brigade militant groups opened registration for those who want to go to fight in Ukraine,” the source reported.

According to him, militants are being recruited in three cities in northern Syria. They are Ras al-Ayn in the Hasaka province, Tell Abyad in the Raqqa province and Jarabulus in the Aleppo province.

The terms of the contract have not been disclosed. Also unknown is the date of the potential redeployment of terrorists to Ukraine.

Ukraine has pulled a large group of troops to the front line in Donbass. On April 10, a Turkish strike drone Bayraktar was spotted on the Ukrainian side of the front.

Previously, Turkey used Syrian militants to fight in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh. According to different sources, there are currently from 5 to 12 thousand Syrian terrorists in Libya. Turkey recruits them from Turkish-backed militant groups in northern Syria.
