The decision to have such a large country as Turkey to become the center for a massive radical Islamist consolidation has been made for the first time, said the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist Sergey Kurginyan on November 2 on the air of the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on Russia One channel.
“It looks like for the first time in recent decades an unspoken but a responsible decision was made to consolidate radical Islamists in one large country,” said Kurginyan.
In the past, the forces that bin Laden or ISIL (organization banned in Russia) owe their existence to created radical Islamist groups as network structures, explained the political scientist.
However, such groups showed that they were not able to accomplish large-scale missions – in order to do that, “something more fundamental” is necessary, with tanks and aviation.
Then, according to Kurginyan “there were hopes that Riyadh would be such a place. What if the Saudis will help?” But despite the fact that the Saudis have a lot of money, their fighting skills were not that great.
“And so everyone thought, and thought again, and could not think of anything else, and finally decided – let’s go to Turkey! Who else? Iran is obviously not it. Iraq has been destroyed. There is no one. This means that if you need to create some kind of global Islamic,field then you need Turkey,” explained Kurginyan.
Erdoğan was told approximately the following, “... The main task for this large Islamist consolidation is to strike against opponents of the West with all its might, concluded the political scientist.
