Syrian Air Force helicopters strike terrorists on the eve of offensive

Syrian Air Force helicopters stroke terrorists’ facilities near the village of Maarrat al-Nu’man, located in the southeast of Idlib province, Rossa Primavera News Agency source in Syria reports on January 4.

It has been reported that the strikes were carried out by multi-purpose helicopters Mi-8/17 BBC using barrel bombs (improvised unguided bomb). Military tasks were set up in preparation for an upcoming offensive.

According to the source, the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) also attacked armed terrorist groups near the village of Maarrat al-Nu’man, located in the southeast of Idlib province.

On January 3, the Syrian Arab Army launched an assault in Idlib with the support of VKS.

It has been reported that VKS carried out 8 surgical strikes shielding the Syrian artillery and air force, which were operating in the surroundings of Idlib.
