The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) seized a terrorist outpost in the Syrian province of As-Suwayda, Sana News Agency reports on November 17.
As a result of the operation, an ISIL (organization banned in Russia) was seized outpost in the mountainous area of Tulol al-Safaa. The majority of the terrorists was wiped out, and others escaped to the desert. According to some reports, ISIL (organization banned in Russia) Emir in the Southern Syria Abu Hajar al-Shishani and several military commanders were killed.
Along with the SAA, the Palestinian Al-Quds Brigades militants and the Syrian Opposition armed units are also engaged in combat with terrorists.
The operation to liberate this South-Eastern province began on August 6.
Hostilities are taking place in an area of difficult terrain with many caves and canyons.
