Militants are fleeing from Syria by way of Israel, Bashar al-Jaafari, the head of Syrian delegation said during the Sochi talks on Syria, the Zvezda TV channel reported on July 31.
During the talks on Syria, Bashar al-Jaafari, head of Syrian Arab Republic delegation, said that the Syrian Arab Republic’s offensive is steadfast, causing militants to flee Syria. According to the Syrian side, Israel has not refused to aid Syrian militants, and it allowed them to escape destruction in the Syrian army’s decisive offensive.
During the Sochi talks on Syria, which are held in the Astana format (Russia, Iran, Turkey and the UN), Bashar al-Jaafari also mentioned that militants are fleeing via the occupied Golan Heights to Israeli territory, going further to other countries, such as Jordan and the USA.
The situation developing in Syria continues to be challenging, but quite a stable trend is seen with refugees returning to their places of former residence.
