The southernmost Syrian town joined the process of peaceful settlement in the Deraa province, RIA Novosti news agency informs on July 10.

The news agency refers to the town of al-Mutaya where the representatives of the militant units acting in this town announced that they sided with the Syrian government. As a result, the process of peaceful transition of the town to the Syrian official authorities was launched.

The Russian Centre for reconciliation of opposing sides in the Syrian Arab Republic informed on July 9 that the number of towns that joined the ceasefire in the south-western de-escalation zone in Syria increased to 90. 75 of them are situated in the Deraa province.

Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) informed on July 8 that the towns in the Deraa province are actively resuming their peaceful life after being liberated from the terrorist groups, which is being confirmed by the increase in trade and the activity of the citizens. The latter have claimed that they “feel freer and hope that security and stability will be completely restored.”
