SBU accuses head of the DPR in terrorist attack preparation in the center of Kiev

Ukrainian army accuses Heads of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Aleksandr Zakharchenko and Aleksandr Timofeev together with the head of the Officer Corps Ukrainian center for POW liberation Vladimir Ruban in planning terrorist attacks in Kiev, head of SBU Vasily Gritsak said during his briefing, 112 Ukraine TV Channel informs.

“Sufficient proof is acquired that Ruban, acting in collusion with the heads of DPR Zakharchenko and Timofeev, as well as with other persons, had planned specific actions aimed at preparation of a series of terrorist attacks in the central part of Kiev,” Gritsak said.

Head of the Officer Corps Ukrainian center for POW liberation Vladimir Ruban was detained on March 8th on the contact line between Ukraine and DPR for smuggling arsenals of weapons to the territory of Ukraine. The judge has accused Ruban of preparing an assassination attempt on the Ukrainian president, heads of Ministry of Internal Affairs and National Security and Defence Council.
