The US-led coalition launches a new strike on Syrian territory

On June 4, the forces of the international US-led coalition conducted a new air strike on the Syrian village of Kishik Zyyanat in the south of  Hasaka province, SANA, Syrian Arab News Agency, reports.

The airstrike left at least 9 civilians dead.

According to local media, the air force of the coalition attacked the village under the pretext of fighting the ISIL (organization banned in Russia). The attack caused severe material damage to the village.

The coalition is regularly accused of killing civilians in air strikes. According to SANA, three air strikes in Syria last week claimed the lives of more than 90 civilians, most of them were women and children. Earlier on June 2, the coalition admitted in its report killing at least 484 civilians by air strikes. However, the coalition stressed that civilians were not a target of their operation.
