The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation delivered humanitarian aid to a Syrian refugee camp, accommodating 12-thousand people near the city of Aleppo, TASS reported on April 20th.

Russian military personnel established a field kitchen and a field hospital in Jerbin camp near Aleppo city. Refugees from the besieged Shiite villages of Al-Fu’ah and Kafriya can now receive food and medical care.

“The Army norm is 250 grams per person. But we give much more here. We are aware of the situation these people are facing. [We want them] to feel our warm attitude and hospitality”, said chief cook Denis Smirnov.

“There are many shrapnel wounds, there are many postoperative wound infections. Many people come with fractures, there is much pathology”, said military physician Stanislav Gitkis.

We reported earlier that military personnel from the Russian center for reconciliation of opposing sides in Syria delivered 13,5 tons of food supplies to the refugee camp near the town of Manbij in Aleppo province.
