During the day of June 12th, the Ukrainian military fired 611 shells at the territory of Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), according to the DPR Operation Command, Donetsk News Agency informed.
The Ukrainian punitive forces fired a total of 114 152mm and 122mm artillery shells, 15 tank shells, and, moreover, 122 120mm and 67 82mm mortar shells. Infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, and small arms were used as well.
Due to the Ukrainian army’s shelling, two soldiers of the DPR Armed Forces were killed, and five civilians were wounded. 6 houses were destroyed or partially damaged.
‘The units of the 40th artillery brigade used the 152mm field guns 2A36 Giatsint-B under the command of the war criminal Ryabokon to shell the civilians,’ DPR Deputy Operations Commander Eduard Basurin stated.
In recent days, the intensity of the Ukrainian shelling remains very high. During the past week, over 3,500 shells were fired at the territory of the Republic, five people were killed, another 21 sustained various degrees of injury.
