Kurginyan: Reveal the true face of neo-Nazism, and it becomes clear why it is so hard to defeat it

10.06.2026, Moscow.

Russian mass media are in no rush to show the true face of Ukrainian neo-Nazism; major Russian TV channels downplay its occult essence, as well as the extent of its consolidation and ruthlessness. If this reality is not revealed to the public and if Russian mass media and politicians keep talking only about the “weaklings” in Kiev, the question arises: why didn’t Russia take Kiev in a week, political scientist, philosopher, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan stated on May 29 during the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.

The political scientist emphasized that while Russian media portrayed the enemy as “weak and ugly” – evoking Charlie Chaplin’s caricature of Hitler – Ukrainian neo-Nazis were busy growing a new generation in Ukraine. It is precisely their consolidation – their dark, genuinely neo-Nazi-occult power – that cements the Ukrainian system today; without it, the system would have quickly collapsed. One must see neo-Nazism for what it really is; otherwise, it remains unclear who Russia is losing to, Kurginyan warns.

“I said it many times on television before Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine began: let’s show some of these people; let’s show their dark, authentic side. Why must some pro-Ukrainian figures like Kovtun keep peddling his ugliness, his grotesque antics, and his boorish remarks? Let someone truly evil come to the light. –  ‘No, no, we shouldn’t elevate them. Charlie Chaplin, Hitler‘…” the political scientist commented.

Kurginyan emphasizes that the only thing currently keeping Ukraine in a state of positional warfare with Russia is a group of 700,000 “entirely neo-Nazi scumbags” – highly skilled, united individuals who hate Russians and dream only of exterminating them.

Ukrainian radicals are firmly embedded in a global neo-Nazi network driven by a “terror-drugs-weapons” triad, Kurginyan continues. Occultism is ever-present alongside this; without it, such structures would “lose their unity.” Such elements “exist everywhere; they have this Ukraine by the throat.”

“Just admit that this force is very strong. Admit this force. Then it becomes clear why the struggle is so difficult. If Russia refuses to admit this and keep telling everyone that the enemy is an absolute nobody, then why was not Kiev taken within a week?

It is so because this force exists; because the occult essence of neo-Nazism, the degree of its consolidation, the level of its adherents’ motivation, their readiness to both kill and die, and the extent of their bestial, inhuman ruthlessness and savagery are significantly downplayed. If one grasp all this, then perhaps things will change,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement says.

The political analyst urged to look the adversary in the face – without jokes or caricatured propaganda: neo-Nazism, having reconstituted itself after its 1945 defeat, is “swarming inside Ukraine” – and not just there; increasingly large concentrations of it can be found in many places. If this is not countered, Auschwitz and Majdanek will seem like “pleasant holiday resorts” compared to the horrors that will be unleashed, Sergey Kurginyan warns.
