Kurginyan: Europe is preparing for a long merciless war

13.04.2026, Moscow.

Europe is militarizing to prepare for a long merciless conventional war, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on March 21 on the Right to Know program on TVC.

The political scientist pointed out that Denmark has begun to accumulate blood for transfusion for a future war. According to him, no one could imagine anything like that before.

“Denmark is getting prepared for a war for Greenland. Could anyone imagine this? <…> But they exposed themselves as never before. This is very important. Also, the Danish army did not really fight against Hitler, but now it has become inspired with a great passionate spirit, and now it accumulates blood for future wounded Danish soldiers,” the leader of Essence of Time noted.

At the same time, Kurginyan noted that today German military concern Rheinmetall and other companies are building zero cycles for new plants to produce conventional land weapons. He explained that such things are always done with a long-term planning in mind.

“This means someone believes that it will last long. And that everyone agreed that it must be something conventional, long-term, and merciless. And where was this agreement reached? It was neither in Brussels nor in Washington. Where?” the political scientist asked.

Sergey Kurginyan also pointed out “ecstatic and not quite reasonable” statements by some experts that Russia must start a nuclear war.

“This is a sort of an eccentric show. Yes. But all the other actors are getting prepared for a conventional and very long war, aren’t they? How can they know that it will take place? Where will be the control center?” he said.

According to the political scientist, Europe complains that the US refuses to support it, so it, “poor girl,” can be abandoned. However, Europe is militarizing meanwhile.

“But does not this militarizing ‘girl’ want to become a new Reich?” Kurginyan rhetorically asked.
