The West, having transferred production to China and other countries with cheap labor, faces a flow of migrants and lost income from investments, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on November 14 on the Conversation with a Sage program on Radio Zvezda.
According to him, the global trend of the recent decades was to transfer production to places with cheaper labor, i.e. to China etc. At the same time, labor resources from these countries are trying to move to places with higher wages.
“A disciplined Chinese woman, clean and neat, will work as much as you need, and she will be under control of the Communist Party of China, being paid 10 times lower than a capricious French or American woman protected by a trade union,” the political scientist explained.
This is why over decades metropolitan powers have been moving their industry to their colonies in order to reduce labor costs, while the colonies are trying to migrate to the metropolitan countries. “Now they have realized that they have moved enough and that migrants will soon seize the metropolitan countries. In the UK, the most popular name for newborns is Mohammed. I am not at all against this name, I am just reporting the fact,” Kurginyan added.
However, according to the political scientist, these processes are very peculiar in the PRC. The point is that China has an old tradition still followed by many Chinese: one has to be buried on the Chinese land in order to rest with their relatives. “Therefore, you may migrate somewhere, but you need your native land,” the philosopher explained.
Also, China has a strong “authoritative top-down command structure.” The Communist Party of China, the army, and the Chinese elite on the whole are very centralized and strong. Also, there is “the memory of the colonial past.”
This is why China says, “All the flags are welcome, come here to us, but only under our governance.” It closely watches how these key assets are transferred to it, the political scientist told.
“I know outstanding smart people who excitedly moved their financial assets to China to find later that it was hard to move them back, that China is not an easy country for that. As great Deng Xiaoping said, it doesn’t matter if a cat is black or white, as long as it catches mice. So, the cat must catch mice, right? And it does. This is why China has its own idea of it,” Kurginyan noted.
In other words, China quickly began to gather productive forces under its control.

But when the Americans saw these trends and the rocketing economy of the Celestial Empire – “China is growing in leaps and bounds” – they got really frightened, the leader of the Essence of Time movement concluded.
