The West now faces a choice due to the deteriorating situation on the battlefield, which is unfavorable for Kiev, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on November 7 during a meeting of the CIS security council secretaries.

“The West now faces a choice: either continue funding the current regime in Kiev and the destruction of the Ukrainian people, or recognize the current realities and start negotiations,” Shoigu stated.

The Ukrainian armed units invaded Kursk Region and occupied Russian territory, including Sudzha, Lyubimovka, and Martynovka. Currently, an operation is underway to eliminate the Ukrainian militants.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost over 27,000 militants in the fighting in Kursk Region.
