29.10.2024, Beijing.

The BRICS Summit in Kazan marked the decline of the dominance of certain countries and the shift towards a more just world order, stated Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko, reported RIA Novosti on October 29.

The diplomat emphasized that BRICS showed that there is a significant part of the global community “that adheres to different views than the so-called ‘Golden Billion’ states.”

He noted that BRICS demonstrated completely different perspectives on the path of global development and establishing international relations. The summit also highlighted alternative principles for the global order.

Rudenko described the summit as a clear signal of the end of the era of dominance by “certain countries.” He predicted that this dominance would gradually be replaced by a more just world order.

The diplomat remarked that the near future will show how long this process will take and what characteristics it will develop.

Over 20 leaders of various countries attended the BRICS summit in Kazan.
