Russian Army strikes UAV systems command center of Ukrainian General Staff

The Russian Army launched strikes on the airfield infrastructure of the Ukrainian Air Forces and the UAV systems command center of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry stated on October 29.

The attacks involved tactical aviation, strike UAVs, missile troops, and artillery.

They inflicted “damage on the airfield infrastructure of the Ukrainian Air Forces and the UAV systems command center of the Ukrainian General Staff.”

Additionally, concentrations of enemy personnel and military equipment were hit in 139 locations, the statement noted.

Russian air defense systems shot down three US-made HIMARS rockets, as well as 98 UAVs of aircraft type.

The ministry also recalled that since the beginning of the special operation, the Russian Army has destroyed 647 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 34,783 unmanned aerial vehicles, 584 air defense missile systems, and 18,902 tanks and other armored combat vehicles.
