Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev: Kiev is trying to make a “dirty bomb”

18.10.2024, Moscow.

Kiev’s statements about the possibility of building its own nuclear charge cover up the work on making a “dirty bomb” in Ukraine, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev, said in his Telegram channel on October 18.

Given the seemingly meaningless chatter around the creation of nuclear weapons by the Banderite Ukraine, one can draw only one sad conclusion: the Nazi regime is trying to create a ‘dirty bomb,’” Medvedev said.

He noted that the Kiev authorities have all the capabilities to create such a device. In particular, since Soviet times, the necessary technologies have been deployed on the territory of Ukraine, a school of specialists has been created, and there are raw materials suitable for use in such a charge. At the same time, the creation of a low-power charge does not pose any special difficulties for the once-developed former Soviet republic – “any laboratory of the Soviet times will do,” Medvedev noted.
