Units of the Russian Group of Forces Tsentr liberated the village of Grodovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russian Defense Ministry press service announced on October 7.
The liberation of Grodovka was made possible by the decisive actions of the servicemen of the Group of Forces Tsentr, according to the statement.
Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov sent telegrams to the units that participated in the battles for Grodovka in the DPR, commending them for their courage and heroism.
Telegrams of gratitude were sent to the 55th Separate (Mountain) Guards Motor Rifle Brigade, the 74th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Zvenigorod-Berlin Brigade, the 35th Guards Volgograd-Kiev Brigade, and the 201st Gatchina Order of Zhukov Twice Red Banner Military Base.
