There are temporary gaps in the US support for Ukraine, but the West’s strategy has not changed, and the assistance will continue, said philosopher, political analyst, theater director, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in the program “In The Topic” on the Belarusian BelTA TV channel on December 28.
Sergey Kurginyan believes that the reduced US support for Ukraine is due to the upcoming presidential elections. According to him, the Democrats and Republicans are engaged in a tug-of-war.
“Democrats should not offend Latinos and all others who are increasing illegal migration on the border with Mexico. This fence (the wall on the border with Mexico – note by the Rossa Primavera News Agency) is a loss of votes for them. The Republicans, on the contrary, need it, while the Democrats need Ukraine’s support. And the Republicans don’t seem to be willing to provide the support. So they are shoving it from one side to the other – but this is a temporary phenomenon, they will come to an agreement,” the political scientist explained.
The philosopher explained that the world’s main empire – the United States – is very much rotting and making a wild number of mistakes, but it is not dying – it is squirming.
“When it dies – and this is a very necessary stage in the development of mankind – there won’t be peace, calm and God’s grace, as some people assure us,” Sergey Kurginyan emphasized.
The political scientist explained that if Russia starts winning the conflict in Ukraine, the United States will increase its support for Kiev.
“What will the Americans do next? I am convinced, in the end they will finance everything and give heavier weapons (some of these weapons will prove effective) and will pump up, as much as they can, the conflict both in Belorus and in our domestic political field. The main bet is on this,” concluded the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
