The main positive trait of 2023 is that reality that currently exists in Russia has held out, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on December 29 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
“The main positive thing of the past year is that this reality, with all its tremendous imperfect and ugly properties, has still held out. The army, after its shock near Kharkov and other failures, has reached a sort of an averagely normal condition,” the political scientist said.
According to Kurginyan, this condition should not be celebrated, and we know how many shortcomings continue to exist there.
“However, these shortcomings are fixed one by one, even maybe slowly sometimes. People learn how to fight. Various trash that came to the army just form money goes away little by little (because they are scared, in addition to other things), while other people get promotion,” Kurginyan said.
He noted that positive processes are going; they are soft, weak, insufficient, but they are going.
According to Kurginyan, the organic Russian man was exposed to terrible destruction in order to enforce and raise something absolutely different, “but the Russian soil resisted it a in way that all this West was astonished to see that the Russian man in his major part has turned out to be the same as he used to be, i.e. a man who can think, feel, have a deep patriotic feeling, have the ability to sacrifice himself, and who is military enough to think it over, to understand what is happening, and to start fixing really disastrous situations to transform them into the positional war that we can see now.”
