“Harsh work” is being carried out by the Russian Armed Forces against Ukrainian military facilities in response to Kiev’s strikes on Belgorod, said the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, RIA Novosti reported on January 7.
“We are working, working extremely harshly, in military terms this work is gaining momentum – but against military facilities, against facilities with military relevance,” Pushilin said.
He noted that Ukraine had crossed all boundaries by starting to bomb children in Belgorod. Unlike Kiev, Russia will not lose its humanity, so it will strike only at military targets, the head of the republic emphasized.
According to him, Moscow will not use carpet bombing or shelling of civilians to achieve victory.
“To lose humanity here can turn out to be much more serious consequences for our country“, – said Pushilin.
On December 30, Ukraine launched a massive strike on the center of Belgorod. As a result, 25 people were killed, including five children, another 109 people were wounded.
