Even all the weapons in the world will not help Ukraine win a military victory over Russia, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said in an interview with pravda sk on December 22.
During the interview, Fico admitted that he did not believe in Ukraine’s military victory over Russia.
“We have to admit to ourselves and say: Ukraine does not have enough forces to turn the situation around militarily, it is not capable of any counter-offensive. We can pour all the weapons in the world, all the money there, and never militarily will Russia be defeated,” he said.
According to the politician, by the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, Russia will start dictating the terms of conflict resolution in Ukraine.
Earlier, Fico expressed the opinion that the majority of European countries are obsessed with hatred towards Russia and are ready to fight to the last Ukrainian for the sake of its weakening.
In early November, Fico voiced the position of Slovakia, which is that the country will stop supplying weapons from its warehouses to Ukraine. Also, the new Slovak government put an end to its predecessors’ initiative to allocate a é€40.3 million aid package to Ukraine.
