The West is demonizing Russia to the extreme because Russia is actually in conflict with it but not with Ukraine, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, political scientist and philosopher Sergey Kurginyan said on December 1 on the program Conversation with a Sage in the Zvezda radio station.
The political scientist noted that after the Special Military Operation began, Russia has been extremely demonized by the West, and this process is far from fading away.
In this context, Sergey Kurginyan referred to the examples of other countries involved in armed conflicts which did not face even a small part of what is said and done towards Russia.
“India and Pakistan had quite a long war. Iran and Iraq had quite a long war. There were major regional wars… No one demonized any side of this conflict the way Russia is demonized,” Kurginyan said.
In his opinion, in Ukraine the West conducts a conflict between “democracy and authoritarianism,” with the Kiev neo-Nazi regime at the “democracy” side.
“Because there is no conflict between Ukraine and Russia, there is a conflict between the West and Russia, i.e. an implementation of the conflict between democracy and authoritarianism where the neo-Nazi Bandera regime is at the democracy side,” Kurginyan explained adding that the Bandera Nazi regime, in the Western logic, has turned out to be a “quintessential democracy.”
