Bahraini authorities severed diplomatic and economic relations with Israel as a sign of support for Palestine. The kingdom’s Chamber of Deputies (lower house of parliament) approved the decision on November 2, the chamber’s website informed.
“Bahrain has decided to return the kingdom’s ambassador to Israel to the country. Economic relations with Israel have also been suspended,” the country’s parliament noted.
According to the MPs, the Israeli ambassador also already left the kingdom.
