The UN does not have the capacity to investigate the circumstances of the strike on Al-Ahli hospital in the Gaza Strip, UN Secretary General’s spokesman Stephane Dujarric said at a briefing on October 23.
A missile strike on Al-Ahli Al-Maadani Hospital in the Gaza Strip on October 17 during Israel’s Operation Iron Swords killed hundreds of people. The Israeli side blamed the tragedy on the Palestinian group “Islamic Jihad” (organization banned in Russia). In turn, Hamas laid the blame for the incident on Israel.
