The opening of the security corridor is necessary to bring urgent medical aid to the Gaza Strip, the enclave’s Health Ministry said in its statement released on October 10.
“We call on the relevant authorities to open a safe corridor for the delivery of urgent medical aid to hospitals in the Gaza Strip,” the statement reads.
Earlier, the Director General of the Ministry of Health of the Gaza Strip Medhat Abbas said that the medicines will run out in a few days.
Rhe Israeli Defense Minister ordered a complete blockade of the Gaza Strip. The supply of water, electricity, food and any goods to the enclave has been stopped. The Israeli Air Force is bombing residential neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip.
