Kurginyan: USA will do anything to prevent Russian-German convergence

15.09.2023, Aleksandrovskoye.

The United States will not allow convergence between Russia and Germany to maintain control over non-sovereign Europe, philosopher, political scientist, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on August 25 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.

The political scientist explained that the convergence between Russia and Germany, no matter how historically natural and organic it may seem, in practice turns into wars.

“As my colleagues have said many times, this kind of convergence is natural. Yes, I replied, it is natural. There is nothing more natural than convergence between Germany and Russia. But there were two world wars in the 20th century. And both times they [Germany and Russia] were on different sides,” the political scientist stated.

The current world order is even more disadvantageous to the closeness of Germany and Russia.

The political scientist cited as an example his private conversation with an adviser to Helmut Kohl, who had been Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany since 1982 (Chancellor of the united Germany from 1991 to 1998). In this conversation, the competent German politician said that the main ideological objective of US foreign policy has always been “to prevent German-Russian convergence at any cost.”

US influential politicians confirmed this in private conversations.

“High-ranking US officials told me personally that if such a convergence happened, it would be a nuclear war in Europe,” the philosopher emphasized.

The philosopher emphasizes that the convergence between Germany and Russia is unacceptable to the USA primarily insofar as it eliminates the internal fighting that the USA has consistently imposed on Europe for total control over the continent.

The political scientist says that German politicians are fully aware that if Russia, as the core of the disintegrated USSR, holds the leadership in geopolitics and declares that this core “has become democratic and very peaceful, nice and sweet and everything else, then the question will arise to the US brothers: against whom it is necessary to preserve: a) all NATO in general and b) US military units in Germany?”

“If Russia becomes nice and sweet, then against whom wants the USA to wage war in Europe?” he asked rhetorical question.

“So, Russia should never have become nice and sweet. ‘You are not going to make this wolf [USA] go without his dinner’!” Kurginyan explained the US claims.
