Ukrainian troops shelled the Petrov district of Donetsk with NATO-style heavy guns using cluster munitions. A representative of the Donetsk People’s Republic to the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Issues related to the Ukrainian War Crimes said on August 30.
“The shelling by the Ukrainian armed units was reported at 09:50 a.m. in the direction: village Kurakhovka – Donetsk (Petrov district): 3 155mm shells were fired,” the statement reads.
The Ukrainian nationalists use barrel artillery and multiple rocket launchers, including foreign models such as the US HIMARS or German MARS II, to shell towns in Donbass.
