A German folklore ensemble performed a song from the Nazi repertoire at a fair in Poland, TV channel 360 reported on August 9.
It is noted that a Bavarian choir participated at the fair in the Polish city of Gdansk. The choir performed a song with which the Nazis marched on Warsaw during World War II.
The material says that the musicians did not know that the soldiers of the Wehrmacht sued the folk song of the 19th century.
It is also reported that Poles negatively perceived what happened. It generated a strong negative reaction and a wave of indignation in social networks.
It ended with the fact that the Bavarian authorities officially apologized to the Polish people.
